Dieting. Most of us have hopped onto the dreaded dieting train at least once in our lives. We go along for the ride, anxiously await immediate results, then promptly hop off at the next stop. For some of us, we are constant yo-yo dieters – we jump from one dieting train to the next, hoping, in vain, that the next train will take us to the final stop, aka Weight Loss Grand Central. So, why does your diet keep failing you?
1. Diets are a marathon not a sprint
Diets fail most often when people think of them as a short-term solution. Sure, you can starve your body into weight loss shock, but eventually you are going to want to eat that 1,000 calorie meal and soon you’ll be back up to your original weight.
